Johnnie T Melia Moving & Storage

Excellent experience. Team took good care of my stuff and kept everything clean.

They did an amazing job and were very fast and came in underneath our estimate. Highly recommend!

I would only consider having Johnnie T move anything I own! Always friendly and professional. Never a mark anywhere. My upstairs piano was picked up and delivered to my church perfectly.

Tony and Woods were a huge help moving my girlfriend and I into our new apartment! We had 2 bedroom set and living room furniture, plus dozens of heavy boxes. They handled everything with care and took care of the heavy lifting so I didn’t have to up 3 flights of stairs. Would highly recommend!

Johnny T Melia Moving Company helped us pack for a cross-country move and they were fantastic. Communication was excellent from start to finish, and the team was professional, kind, and extremely helpful throughout the entire process. They took great care packing our belongings and made a stressful...

JT Melia & Co. did a great job planning and executing our in-state move from Houston. From planning w/Brandon, to having a great group of movers (s/o to Isaac, Jack & Tony) - everyone was helpful, friendly, and worked efficiently. We would definitely use their services again in the future.

Isaac, Jack, Tony, and Frank were courteous, kind, helpful, and communicative. They made a stressful situation feel calm and organized and managed the move very efficiently. Top notch!!!

Antonio, Marcy, and Frank were fantastic! We had a lot of really fragile and antique furniture, and they handled it with great care. They were professional, efficient, and had a great attitude. I would definitely work with them again and highly recommend. Thanks guys!

Update: used these guys again and they pulled off a great whole house move for me, from coordination to execution, everything without a hitch. Crew Isaac, Tony, Jack, Marce 12/22/25 Previous review: Showed up on time and did not waste time. Able to move a baby grand properly and professionally. No f...

The moving experience was chaotic. They threw take out menus in kitchen boxes. We stored our furniture for six months at their warehouse and paid over $2000 for insurance. Upon delivery, we discovered much damage to our chona cabinet base that they fixed with epoxy and paper. When I busted the wa...

Do not use this company ! They scratched my expensive desk, after I told their company multiple times, to be careful with this item ! The move cost $850, plus the pleasure of finding a business to repair the furniture.

We are very happy with our move last week. From the initial contact to the final box coming in was a pleasure. The 3 movers were very nice & efficient. We will definitely use them again for our next move!!

We called several moving companies for estimates. All of them quoted an hourly rate for a crew and truck. Melia was the only company who sent out a consultant to give us a written bid. We had a 3 bedroom home full of furniture, and they quoted 2 trucks and 7 men. We packed most of our own boxes,...

Johnnie T Melia is an excellent company and they are experts in what they do! I had many very old, large antiques (several hundred years old) and they were moved with care and precision that you just don't find with any moving company. They made a very stressful experience calm and pleasant and they...

Booked Melia Movers about a month in advance. Had a hard time finding anyone that would agree to move my 800+ LB gun safe but they quickly agreed so I was sold. On the day of the move the three gentlemen arrived 10 minutes early which was refreshing. They got straight to work once we showed them whe...

I had a very good experience with JT Melia. They came out and assessed my cost. I paid a little more after pick up due to the size of storage I needed but they were very nice, knowledgeable and courteous through the whole process. I feel comfortable with them storing my entire home in-between moves....

I have used JT Melia Moving on 2 occasions and have been pleased with both moves. A 3 man crew arrived exactly on time and started work right away. All of my furniture was wrapped and padded for protection and my boxes were handled carefully. The crew even helped me arrange the furniture at the new...

A crew of 4 men moved me to 2 locations yesterday. They were professional, careful with our belongings and were polite. If I had another move, I would use them again.

I have used Johnnie Melia a number of times. Once for a Piano and most recently for a move from Sugarland to Galveston. I have a lot if very fragile and EXPENSIVE musical equipment, and some nice pieces of furniture as well; and the guys always took the care to make sure everything was properly prot...

Be careful when thinking about storing items at Johnnie T. Melia. Insects totally destroyed three of my rugs at Melia's storage unit. All rugs were in excellent condition valued at more than $8,000. Plus, my other items in storage had insects crawling out of the boxes and wrappings when they were...
